My passion for accounting started at a young age, as I eagerly helped my mother with balancing her books whenever she brought work home. It was in those moments that I discovered my calling—not just driven by my love for mathematics, but fueled by a deeper desire to inspire fellow Black people to pursue financial freedom.

Raised by a single mother who leveraged her accounting knowledge to provide for our family, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of financial literacy. Yet, around me, I recognized a sad reality: many within the Black community lacked access to the financial education that shaped my trajectory.

Determined to bridge this gap, I committed myself to the study of accounting, dedicating my life to effecting change within my community. Armed with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting and enriched by experiences at the big four accounting firms, I have emerged as a six-figure earner with a singular purpose—to uplift and empower the Black community as promised years ago.
